The fund earned a 0.9% return in July. Despite a very exuberant stock market, all but one of our investments were either flat or down in July. This may be a result of investors shunning boring investments and value stocks in favor of "hot" stocks. This phenomenon also occurred during the stock market bubble in the late 1990s.
